South of the town portal you see the back side of a house with a chimney spewing smoke. Game play is the same of course, it just looks fricken awesome! Characters, buildings. Or would that just cause more trouble making double vision for each half and you'd have an even bigger mess. Or since stereo view is tearing the pointer and text into two versions of itself, render those divided in half so when it's viewed in stero it puts them together to make a clean viewable object. Possibly make the pointer an overlay that travels over the ground surface so it will be on the same focal plane your viewing.
Diablo 3 vorpx Patch#
Would be nice if Blizzard would put a patch out to have a VR option for the on screen text and pointer. If I go the complete opposite direction down to 0 then yeah the mouse and text are readable but you aren't in stereoscopic view at that point and looks just like it would if you were playing on a standard screen. A setting of 1.73 pushed the black bar (which is just the affect of the two screens not lining up to give you a clean stereo view) to the edge of the screen. I had to make adjustments to that to get the black bar issue resolved.
